Hot Toys For Christmas
We have scoured the floors of the 2012 Toy Fair to bring you the hot toys for Christmas 2013. There were many overlying trends at this year's show. We had a lot of fun seeing the latest and greatest in the Toy World. This was the largest show ever with over 30,000 people in attendance. Thousands of toys were shown on the floor. We saw many toys from a lot of exhibitors including big and small toy companies.

Here are the toys that stood out from the crowded show room floor.

BobbleBots Moshi Monsters

The Moshi Monsters are already an online sensation. Millions of children are in love with them. There is so much to do online with the Moshi Monsters. It easy to become addicted with all the different things you can do with them online. How would you like to bring all the fun from the virtual world to the real world? Here is a hot new collectible featuring the Moshi Monsters. When we first saw it in action, it reminded us of the Hexbugs. This is because it is from the same creators as the Hexbugs, Innovation First Labs. Now kids can bring these adorable Moshi Monsters to the real world. There are many different mini bobble-head Moshi Monsters to collect. Not only are there characters to collect, but there are also specially designed play sets. These play sets are half of the fun. Our favorite is the Monstro City. It is a complete city complete with flowers, stores, and houses. You can put all your Moshi Monsters in the city and it bursts with life. These robotic pets roam around the city much like the Hexbugs do. It is so much fun to watch them moving around and bouncing their cute little heads. Each of the figures comes with a special code that allows you to unlock additional content online. When you’re done, you can continue your adventures online. It's adorable and cute. It's great fun for children 3 and up. The sets and figures vary in price range.

VTech Switch & Go Dinos

VTech is known for their educational kids' toys. We love toys that combine technology, learning, and fun. Here is something a little bit different from them. Let year they brought us tablets. Now there are bringing us the VTech Switch & Go Dinos. It combines two things that little boys love - both dinosaurs and cars. This toy is similar to transformers except it is designed for smaller kids. In just a few steps, children can transform their dinosaurs into a vehicle and back. The simplicity really makes it very alluring for kids. It would have been great if that were all. This is from VTech so you can expect to see a lot of technology as well. The technology really helps make the toy more interactive. There are electronic sounds which bring both the vehicles and dinos to life. Kids can also personalize the dinosaurs thanks to the LCD screen, which allows them to choose different drivers and faces. Children will also learn interesting facts about each particular dinosaur. There are seven different ones to collect. Children between the ages of 3 and 8 are going to absolutely love these.

Kinect Sesame Street

One of the biggest problems in America is obesity. Is seems everywhere you go you see a fat kids. While more and more kids are eating at fast food restaurants, many people blame electronic video games. Microsoft wanted to change that image when they brought us the Kinect. With the Kinect, kids can dance and wave their arms around like they don’t care. The system allows your body to become the controller. This gets us up off the coach. With Kinect Sesame Street kids get to interact with their favorite characters from the show. It is interesting because the Kinect software is now interacting directly with the TV show. They will enjoy learning and moving with all their favorite characters from the show including Elmo and the Cookie Monster. Now kids are no longer going to sit and passively watch the episodes, they are going to have to get up and play along.

iBounce Kids Trampoline

Here is another fun way for kids to exercise. Jumpsport is known for their trampolines. Here is a kids’ Trapoline that is so much of fun. The trampoline includes a 12 minute exercise video. It is a cartoon that encourages kids to hop along with RompyRoo, a cartoon character. Kids will haveto follow him as they help him look for his lost teddy bear. He makes his way through the woods, hopping and jumping over obstacles. The video can either be played on a tablet. Don’t worry; it can also be played on a standard DVD player. There is actually a stand included to hold the tablet. Kids will actually learn different movements that will help them build a stronger body except it is disguised as a fun cartoon activity. The company plans to make different routines available over time. It's a great way for kids to get their hearts pumping and blood boiling. It comes from a company that lives and breathes trampolines. They have been making trampolines for 15 years. It's sturdy and safe.

Skylanders Giants

If your kids love high tech toys, here is something for them. Last year the number one kids’ videogame was Skylanders. Now there is a sequel called Skylanders Giants. The game allows you to transport your toys into the videogame world. There are ton of new characters and environments. We really like that the toys seamlessly integrate across all the consoles. The game features 8 new giant sized characters. They are twice the size of the original characters. These characters have special skills that reflect their size. The toys light up whenever they are placed near the portal of power. Kids and parents are going to love that you can use all of the figures from the previous game with the new game. It's definitely a level up from the previous game.
